Megingat, ada potensi pengeloaan karbon di perkebunan sawit. Di kebun sawit swadaya, karbon disimpan dan diserap di batang, pelepah, akar, dan buah pohon kelapa sawit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Praktik pengelolaan lahan yang berkelanjutan sangat menentukan jumlah karbon yang tersimpan dan bisa menjadi cadangan karbon alami yang besar. Ada juga tanaman lain seperti pinang, aren, buah buahan, dan lainnya, sebagai diversifikasi produk, yang bisa meningkatkan cadangan karbon dari kebun petani sawit swadaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Di kebun sawit ada karbon tapi tidak terlihat, ibaratnya mahluk halus. Setiap tumbuhan termasuk tanaman sawit, menyimpan karbon mulai daun, batang, akar, buah. Dalam jangka panjang produktivitasnya bisa lebih meningkatkan atau lebih baik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Dengan menerapkan praktik yang baik, kesuburan tanah akan meningkat dan mikro organisme dalam tanah akan lebih aktif untuk menguraikan atau melapukan serasah-serarah.
