{"id":3388,"date":"2024-11-25T14:54:32","date_gmt":"2024-11-25T07:54:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ceritabaik.fortasbi.org\/first\/?p=3388"},"modified":"2024-11-25T15:01:22","modified_gmt":"2024-11-25T08:01:22","slug":"pertanian-regeneratif-solusi-masa-depan-petani-sawit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ceritabaik.fortasbi.org\/first\/2024\/11\/25\/pertanian-regeneratif-solusi-masa-depan-petani-sawit\/","title":{"rendered":"Pertanian Regeneratif; Solusi Masa Depan Petani Sawit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FORTASBI &#8211;<\/strong> Sejak 2022, Forum Petani Kelapa Sawit Berkelanjutan Indonesia (FORTASBI), melakukan kajian mengenai model pertanian yang dilakukan oleh petani swadaya, di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat dan Tebo di Provinsi Jambi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hasilnya ditemukan, petani swadaya dalam pengelolaan perkebunan kelapa sawit, masih menggunakan cara-cara kearifan lokal yang ramah lingkungan, seperti penggunaan pupuk organik dari kotoran ternak dan janjang kosong sawit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selain itu juga banyak ditemukan kebun sawit yang bercampur dengan tanaman lain, seperti karet, durian dan tanaman lainnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dalam kajian tersebut, disimpulkan petani swadaya di areal FPS-MRM, APBML dan PPSRU banyak yang menerapkan model pertanian regenerative agriculture (RA) atau pertanian regeneratif di kebun sawit milik petani swadaya, yang sudah tersertifikasi Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) sejak tahun 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regenerative agriculture atau pertanian regeneratif adalah\u00a0pendekatan pertanian yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki dan memulihkan ekosistem, keanekaragaman hayati, dan tanah.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pertanian regeneratif ini, merupakan evolusi dari pertanian konvensional yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi penggunaan air dan input lainnya, serta mencegah deforestasi dan degradasi tanah.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"4000\" height=\"3000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ceritabaik.fortasbi.org\/first\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/pertanian-regeneratif-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3389\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pertanian regeneratif memiliki beberapa manfaat, mengurangi emisi gas rumah kaca, menyerap karbon, mempertahankan kesehatan tanah, dan mencegah degradasi. Selain itu, mempertahankan keragaman hayati dan pangan, serta meningkatkan mata pencaharian petani. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beberapa teknik utama pertanian regeneratif, di antaranya:\u00a0pengolahan tanah konservasi, keanekaragaman, rotasi dan tanaman penutup tanah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dalam hasil identifikasi yang dilakukan oleh FORTASBI, praktik Pertanian Regeneratif terimplementasi di 5 Desa yang tergabung dalam Forum Petani Swadaya Merlung Renah Mendaluh (FPS-MRM), 8 desa yang tergabung dalam Asosiasi Petani Berkah Mandah Lestari (APBML) di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat dan 3 desa di Perkumpulan Petani Sawit Rimbo Ulu (PPSU) Kabupaten Tebo, Provinsi Jambi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Karena model pertanian regenerative agriculture adalah model pertanian yang saat ini dipromosikan oleh banyak pihak, termasuk industri besar, sehingga FORTASBI bersama anggotanya yang telah bersertifikat RSPO dengan dukungan FONAP dan GIZ, mempromosikan RA sebagai alternatif pascasertifikasi RSPO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sejak tahun 2022 hingga 2024, sekitar 700 petani swadaya yang tersebar di 13 Desa wilayah FPS-MRM,APBML Tanjung Jabung Barat dan PPSRU di Tebo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"4000\" height=\"3000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ceritabaik.fortasbi.org\/first\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/regeneratif-agrikultur-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3390\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Desa tersebut diantaranya: Desa Sungai Rotan, Desa Rantau Benar,\u00a0 Desa Pulau Pauh, Desa Lubuk Terap dan Desa Merlung untuk wilayah FPS-MRM. Sedangkan untuk wilayah APBML meliputi Desa Taman Raja, Desa Pematang Tembesu, Desa Pelabuhan Dagang, Desa Gemuruh, Desa Tanjung Tayas, Desa Suban, Desa Lubuk Lawas dan Desa Lubuk Bernai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Misalnya, Zainuddin (62 Tahun), adalah salah seorang petani sawit swadaya di Desa Sungai Rotan, yang memiliki luas lahan perkebunan sawit 1 hektar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ia menerapkan pertanian regeneratif tumpang sari dan pengendalian hama secara hayati. Tumpang sari yang dilakukan yaitu kelapa sawit dengan tanaman sayur-sayuran, duku dan durian. Hasilnya, selain menambah penghasilan dari penjualan buah, hasil sayuran juga dibagikan pada tetangga untuk memenuhi gizi atau lauk-pauk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"5000\" height=\"3750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ceritabaik.fortasbi.org\/first\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/STRATEGI-3-36.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3391\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pertanian regenaratif yang dilakukan Zainuddin ini, selain mendapatkan penghasilan tambahan secara ekonomi, juga menstabilkan bahan organik tanah. Karena, Zainuddin menerapkan pengetahuan turun temurun dari leluhurnya, untuk mengendalikan hama secara hayati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ia juga menaman bunga cocok cotol atau bunga tahi ayam (tagetes erecta), sejak tahun 2012, agar kondisi tanah tetap optimal. Manfaat dari tanaman cocok botol ini, dirasakan Zainuddin yakni menghemat pengeluaran karena tidak perlu membeli pestisida dan tentunya pengelolan Perkebunan menjadi ramah lingkungan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bahkan, bunga cocok botol yang ada di kebun milik Zainuddin, kerap diminta oleh tetangga untuk tanaman pagar dan pakan ayam. Bunga cocok botol ini dapat digunakan sebagai pengendali secara hayati bagi hama-hama yang menyerang sayur-sayuran. Hama-hama tersebut antara lain thrips, tungau, kutu kebul, dan parasit yang terdapat di dalam tanah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bukan hanya Zainuddin, petani swadaya lainnya, Deni (42 tahun) yang juga berada di Desa Sungai Rotan, melakukan pengendalian gulma secara mekanis di pekebunan sawitnya dengan luas lahan 2 hektar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pengendalian gulma secara mekanis ini, merupakan tebas dengan mesin rumput. Ia melakukannya sejak tahun 2017. Di mana, manfaat yang diperoleh dalam menerapkan pertanian regeneratif ini terjaganya ekosistem tanah dan tanah menjadi lembab. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selain itu, membuka lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat sekitar, karena menggunakan sistem upah. Penggunaan mekanis dalam membersihkan gulma juga bisa menurunkan resiko terhadap kesehatan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Karena penggunaan herbisida dapat berdampak pada kesehatan pekerja, jika salah dalam aplikasi,&#8221; kata Deni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"5000\" height=\"3750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ceritabaik.fortasbi.org\/first\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/penamaman-pohon.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3392\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FORTASBI berharap, pertanian regeneratif mampu menjadi solusi perbaikan lingkungan dan juga sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi mahalnya harga pupuk dan herbisida kimia, terutama pada sektor perkebunan kelapa sawit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Di mana, dalam pertanian regeneratif ini, petani sawit swadaya mampu menerapkan perbaikan ekosistem kebun, meliputi perbaikan kesuburan tanah, tata kelola air, penggunaan pupuk organic, serta perawatan kebun dengan metode yang ramah lingkungan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FORTASBI &#8211; Sejak 2022, Forum Petani Kelapa Sawit Berkelanjutan Indonesia (FORTASBI), melakukan kajian mengenai model pertanian yang dilakukan oleh petani swadaya, di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat dan Tebo di Provinsi Jambi.
